Facebook Myxer Storefront Widgets

Myxer Storefront widgets work a little differently depending on where you choose to embed them. The Facebook Myxer Storefront widget requires a few extra steps I will outline for you here in this post.

The first thing to understand is that the Storefront widget will not work on your normal user Facebook profiles but are designed for Facebook Pages; where bands, brands, and public figures go to promote on Facebook.

First thing to do is sign into your Facebook Pages profile and edit your page.

Then scroll down until you see “More Applications” toward the bottom of the Application column.

Click More Applications

Then click on the “By Facebook” button located within the application search box on the right hand side.

Scroll down through the applications and go to the second page where you will find the “Static FBML” application. Click on that link and then click the “Add to Page” button.

Choose the page you wish to add the application to and click the “Add Static FBML” button.

This will bring you back to your Facebook Pages profile where you will scroll down to see the new application on the right hand column. Move it into the left hand column so that it will fit your Myxer Storefront Widget.

Click the “Add FBML” link and paste your Facebook Myxer Storefront widget embed code into the body of the application. Title it and click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom.
