Here at Myxer we’re always trying to help artists get where they want to go, whether it’s connecting with fans, promoting new music, or building a bigger audience. We’d love to hear from any artists out there on what their biggest challenges are today, and what they’d like help with. Mobile is changing the way people discover and buy music, interact with their favorite bands, and figure out where to go out on the weekend. We want to help all the artists out there use mobile to tackle whatever challenges they’re facing, so let us know what they are. Tell us which of the following things is most important to you, or come up with your own if it’s not on the list. Just post your comments here, or shoot us an email at artist@myxer.com.

- I’d like to get more fans at my live shows

Hey everyone, we’re excited to announce we’ve reached a distribution deal for the seminal Death Row Records catalog. We’re including tracks from the prime of gangsta rap- classic cuts from The Chronic by Dr. Dre, Snoop’s DoggyStyle, and other classic Death Row tracks. Check them out in the premium hip hop section.

Myxer Inks Deal With EMI Music

Hello Everyone,

Travis @ Myxer here, I am starting this blog to provide tips and tools to artists who use Myxer to offer new mobile featues on their website, MySpace, & Facebook; add mobile features to their printed promotional items; and learn to use mobile technology to interact with fans, gain new forms of exposure, and maybe make a few bucks on the side.

I will work hard to keep this blog up to date with all of the MyxerIndie happenings.
